Membrane workshop: cutting, positioning and joining

See MOTET staff cutting panels, handling sheet edges and coordinating membrane joining, with workshop views that illustrate the space and teamwork involved.

These photographs are grouped by equipment and manufacturing topic, not presented as a separately verified project with an identified location, client or capacity.

Share the gas or stored material, required capacity and installation conditions to discuss a suitable configuration.

From panel cutting to joining

Membrane fabrication translates the designed shape into individual panels, maintaining their relationship through cutting, unfolding and positioning. The photographs show manual cutting and edge handling, together with the workspace needed to process large sheets.

Joining requires coordination of panel positioning, the joining area and support for handling the material. The machine and workshop views show staff working together, but do not establish the joining mechanism, process settings or membrane composition.

Fabrication requirements and records

Define membrane selection, panel dimensions, joint details, perimeter fixings and connection positions in the fabrication drawings. Inner and outer membranes serve different functions, so manufacturing documentation must address their respective operating conditions and interface structures.

Acceptance requirements can include dimensional checks, joint inspection, leak testing and finished-product records, as appropriate to the scope. The technical documents should define the methods, acceptance criteria and records to be supplied; these photographs illustrate the workshop activities.
