LIPP forming equipment: rollers and on-site fabrication

Explore steel-strip forming assemblies and on-site tank fabrication as a reference for discussing equipment layout, material requirements and construction planning.

These photographs are grouped by equipment and manufacturing topic, not presented as a separately verified project with an identified location, client or capacity.

Share the gas or stored material, required capacity and installation conditions to discuss a suitable configuration.

Steel-strip forming and spiral seams

LIPP spiral fabrication forms steel strip into a cylindrical tank wall using shaping and folded seam connections. Roller assemblies shape the strip profile and edges; the equipment configuration must suit the material, tank geometry and seam arrangement.

The close views show successive roller units, while the site photograph shows the relationship between the tank wall, forming equipment and temporary supports. These views help discuss working space and construction interfaces; machine capabilities and settings require equipment documentation.

Equipment selection and site planning

Define the strip specification, surface condition, target tank diameter, wall construction and seam requirements, then verify compatibility with the rollers and associated equipment. Material selection and forming conditions should form one technical specification; appearance alone does not establish the processing range.

Site planning should coordinate strip supply, equipment placement, temporary supports, access routes and subsequent roof and accessory work. Site plans, tank drawings and material requirements support a review of equipment layout, construction sequence and inspection records.
